On Friday 21st September 2018, Alison Bond Commercial Nutritionist for Rumenco took to the stage at Harper Adams University to present The Rumenco Beef & Sheep award to Harry Billing for his BSc IV assignment; ‘Beef suckler herd enterprise appraisal of Holdgate Hall at Much Wenlock’ for the Sustainable Animal Production Systems module.

Harry comes from Bristol where the family run a Farm Livery and Stud. He is passionate about beef production, especially pedigree breeding, and has worked with a pedigree Blonde herd at Bristol and also spent his placement year at the noted Dinmore herd in Herefordshire who run pedigree herds of Limousin and Shorthorn cattle.

On graduation Harry intends to return to the family farm and develop a beef enterprise.

Rumenco wish Harry all the best for the future and thank Harper Adam’s for the opportunity to support our future farmers.
